I work for Ladder Up, a nonprofit in Chicago IL. We were granted Project Server - Device CAL x5 and Project Professional x5. We are trying to get this up and running and we noticed that you need SQL Server and SharePoint Server as well. We are trying to figure out what we need from Tech Soup to make Project work. Our server is running Windows Server 2016 Datacenter. We have SharePoint online from our O365 E1 Nonprofit licensing. And as far as I know, we don't have anything for SQL.
We have around 20 employees in office that might use this, 10 or so that definitely will use this.
Please let me know what we can get to make everything work.
Assuming you've got Project Server 2016, refer to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/project/software-requirements-for-project-server-2016 to know what software you need to get Project Server up and running. Sounds like you are in a hybrid scenario.
