I'm trying to download Office Standard 2019 for my organization. I click on the down arrow and the box opens for me to save the file. Instead of the file being called Office Standard 2019 it's called SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_Plus_64Bit_English_-6_OfficeOnlineSvr_MLF_X21-90444.
Did anybody else have this problem? Any suggestions of what to do about it? Check out the screenshot
That is only the beginning of your troubles. I was never able to download this program to my computer.
For Office 2019 things have changed. You'll need to use the deployment toolkit which anyone can download.
With toolkit you'll need command line to set your install type run once with the download command and then you can deploy with your management tool of choice or manually again through powershell or command prompt.
Documentation here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployoffice/office2019/deploy
You have covered up some of the screen information, but I can see they are saying they are not providing an MSI file as is often the case with downloads.I think you have to download that ISO file and burn it to a disc. Then you can install the software you want from that disc.
But someone else may have more information about this.
As noted, there is no ISO now. You have to use the deployment tool.
Warning for O365 users, you will be stuck with the Lync Basic 2013 client since newer editions of Skype4Biz Basic can't coexist with Standard VL 2019.
I was never able to download the program successfully, even after following the instructions to a T. Microsoft has sabotaged this product in the hopes that people will end up shelling out for 365.
I am having the same problem. did you get it fixed?

The new loading is one issue. The bigger issue is that on the VLSC download the only version shown is the Web Apps version - not the standard office suite for a PC. How does one download just the standard version?
