Approximately 75% of the computers at my organization are running Windows 7. For all devices that have not reached end of life and meet minimum reqs, I want to upgrade to Windows 10.
Looking for information from folks who have undertaken this task across a few hundred computers.
How do I determine that the computers are ready to take the upgrade?
What is best way to procure the OS license?
Any other advice is appreciated!
This article talks about how to get the free Win10 upgrade and manage the upgrade. Your computers will need to meet the hardware requirements. The article says that "the only way you are going to find out (about hardware compatibility) is by actually starting the upgrade process."
Best of luck with this.
