Your work is vital. We are raising funds to support it.
Our #SoupChat with Box.org is coming March 26, 2015 at 12:30 pm Pacific Time.More and more nonprofits are connecting and collaborating online. Box cloud-based storage and collaboration tools can help nonprofits streamline daily activities so they can focus more on their missions. Box can replace traditional on-premises file servers and traditional file-sharing processes, and it provides tools that facilitate program management, funding development, and global collaboration.
To kick-off our newest donor partnership, we’re hosting a #SoupChat with Box.org Executive Director Bryan Breckenridge right here on Thursday, March 26 at 12:30 pm PT, to talk about how nonprofits can harness Box technology to connect and collaborate in the cloud. In his role, Bryan oversees the company’s efforts to empower nonprofits to operate efficiently and meet their missions. Prior to Box, Bryan founded the nonprofit-facing pillar of LinkedIn for Good, to offer support to nonprofits on LinkedIn's organizational offerings.Do you work with sensitive data? Box provides the administrative, technical and physical safeguards to support your organization’s compliance with HIPAA. How do you collaborate online? Is Box the right solution for you? What questions are other nonprofits asking about cloud collaboration technology?See the TechSoup Announcement for more info on Box, including details about our new offer, and get the answers to these questions right here in this forum thread on March 26 during our live #SoupChat with Box.org ED Bryan Breckenridge.

Webinar: TechSoup Chat with Box.org - March 26th 12:30 pm
Hi Yvonne, the webinar with Box.org was last week - the #SoupChat with Box.org is on March 26th. That will be held right here - looking forward to having you drop in with your questions and ideas!
Sorry to be so dumb, but is #SoupChat through Twitter or what? Have not really used Twitter.
Not a dumb question at all. The #SoupChat will happen right here, in this thread, in real time during the date and time specified in the description above. So to join just show up here at the specified time and start posting. I noticed you haven't filled out your community profile. It would be great to know a few things about your nonprofit and/or tech experience. Here's how to do that. And please feel free to post questions in this thread before the #SoupChat if you have them!
We'll see everyone at 12:30 pm PT with Bryan Breckenridge, Executive Director of Box.org as well Barbara Shaughnessy (aka shaughnyb), who is the Box.org relationship manager at TechSoup Global.
Lewis Haidt Senior Manager, TechSoup Online Community and Social Media @lewisha
Less than 15 minutes until our #SoupChat with Box.org's Bryan Breckenridge and TechSoup Global's Barbara Shaughnessy! Any questions you're burning to ask about Box technology or cloud collaboration in general?
Excellent. I look forward to this chat.
So let's jump in and ask Box.org Executive Director Bryan Breckenridge, what are the top ways that nonprofits are using Box.org?
Hi, lewis! Great question. The top Box usage areas of Box falls into three main areas (comms & development / program management / & admin).
Comms/Development- storing images and video or grant collaboration
Program Management- sharing and collaborating on volunteer instructions
Admin- Board doc's management or staff onboarding.
how do i log in
Hi, Childsteps. Please clarify your question. are you asking where you get donated access or where to go to log-in once you have access to a Box site?
I hear Adobe is coming out with something similar in a few months. Box has all the features I am looking for
Is there an annual fee? Or, is the cost a one time subscription?
i do not a box. I'm actually looking to get one
