Your work is vital. We are raising funds to support it.
Does Box.com have a webinar planned that shows the actual features and how they work?

My small religious organization is considering using Box for managing lots and lots of group documents for various projects. Some of these uses will be fairly straightforward, but some of them will involve confidential information to be shown only to those assigned to that particular project. Is there a way for Box to allow access to certain information and not to info that is confidential? Access for Joe, Mary and Steve for the next fundraiser, but only Debbie and John for the donor contact information?
Here's a recorded webinar that we did with TechSoup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-71P9IVZpE&feature=youtu.be

Hollycny - Great question. Box is available to religious organizations and many faith-based orgs have been early adopters. Interested in learning more about your unique requirements.
Certainly! Security and access controls are core strengths of Box. With Box, you can set up a fundraising folder for only Joe, Mary and Steve to access. Then, you can create a separate folder for donor information that only Debbie and John can access. You can even assign specific levels of access within folders. For example, some collaborators in a folder may just need the ability to view content while others need full read-write access. Here's an overview of the different access levels that you can assign to collaborators within a folder in Box: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/200520918

Hey everyone - here's a TechSoup article by Jim Lynch on cloud computing from last year that mentions the launch of Box.org: http://asiangirlvegasmassage.com/?id=cs/community/b/tsblog/archive/2014/06/20/nonprofit-technology-news-facebook-causes-cloud-storage-for-charities.aspx Check it out.
Box integrates with other products available on TechSoup including Office, Office365, NetSuite, and Litmos.
I attended that webinar, but it was more general about what Box does and how some orgs have used it. I would like to see a walk through of actually using it on some specific activities.
We're going to wrap up in 5 minutes!
Here's a case study from Nature Conservancy and their Program Director of Infrastructure, Brian Payst, on using Box for collaborating on transforming content management and spurring global collaboration.
Thanks to all for your SoupChat participation and your interest in the TechSoup Box donation program! I actively participate in the forums and look forward to future questions and learning more about how Box can support your mission.
