I installed Access 2019 through Techsoup. The software is asking for a Product Key and doesn't accept the key I see listed in the Microsoft Volume Licensing Center. The key type listed is MAK, with 0/50 activations. The error message is:This product key is for the volume-licensed version of Microsoft Access 2019, which isn't currently installed.
Additional information: the computer is also running Office 2010, paid, standalone version, which came installed on the PC. When I installed Access, Office disappeared and I had to reinstall it using the product key that came with the PC. Both are working but I will lose Access unless I can solve the Product Key issue.
my problem precisely... and 3 months later this thread is dead in the water with zero replies....
I suspect we both diligently reviewed the relevant tech soup document - we both downloaded the correct config dot xml file helpfully offered by tech soup
... and that failed to install the product correctly (in a way that it could be activated)
And now, apparently, silence from tech soup staff and the community - I don't get it.
