We recently started using QuickBooks online purchased through techsoup, which is great for us. Unfortunately, unlike the desktop version, you only get one company file.
We have an office in Australia to run our overseas program there. Legally this is a separate entity and I'd like to keep separate books.
Is there an option for adding additional company files at a discounted rate? I read on the intuit forums something along the lines that there is a $5/month per company file rate.
Is this something techsoup can help with, or has anybody successfully added more company files at a discounted rate?
For right now, you may want to check with Intuit directly to see if additional company files can be added. I will reach out to Intuit to see if there is another route we can provide you, and will get back to you via email.

I did call Intuit sales and got the run around. The sales rep didn't seem very knowledgable. First it was there isn't such a discount. Then it was they have a $25 for 5 company files promotion, but that's only for CPAs to give a license to their clients and it's a different department in Intuit. It's also only for new customers who pay full price for their first subscription. Very confusing info I received. They looked up our account and said it shows as trial. I explained techsoup and nonprofit and they said then I should contact techsoup
