Your work is vital. We are raising funds to support it.
TechSoup donor partner Symantec has streamlined the Norton security products it offers through TechSoup into just two: Norton Security and Norton Small Business.
Norton Security combines features of Norton AntiVirus, Norton Internet Security, and Norton 360 for both Windows and Mac. It also runs on iOS and Android mobile devices. Each license lets you run the software on five devices. Norton Security is suited for organizations where only one user needs a security product.
Norton Small Business is suited for organizations that need to protect up to 20 of the same types of devices as Norton Security protects. TechSoup is offering it in bundles of 5, 10, or 20 devices. You can manage security on all the devices in your organization through a web portal with no need for a server. Since you may request only one Norton Small Business product per fiscal year, you should choose the bundle that will meet your needs for the full 12 months.
Larger, networked organizations should consider one of Symantec's enterprise products. For example, Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition can also be managed from the cloud and is suitable for up to 100 endpoints.
You can use these Norton security products to protect your organization's data from viruses, spyware, spam, and other threats. By keeping your computers running smoothly, you can reduce your system administration costs.
If your subscription to one of the previous Norton security products is coming to an end, you can request a donation of Norton Security or Norton Small Business, and the installation process will remove the other product.

Norton Security and Norton Small Business do most of their work in the background while consuming few system resources and requiring little user interaction.
These Norton security products combine several defense technologies based on networks, files, reputation, and behavior.
Mobile Insight checks apps for potential privacy risks, high battery and data use, and intrusive behavior.
If a mobile device is lost or stolen, these products can remotely locate it, lock it, wipe it, and even set off a scream alarm.
On Windows computers, Norton Security provides tools to fix common computer problems, free up memory, remove unneeded files, and clean up the hard drive.
It also includes Identity Safe, which stores login information, such as login credentials, user IDs, and passwords.
you did not provide a direct link to the product. Do we have to contact Norton directly ourselves or does TechSoup have a direct relationship with Norton and if so there should be that direct link to access this software.
So, Norton Security can be used on IOS, Android, PC's, Mac's etc... but Norton Small Business does not? We would have to buy a 5, 10 or 20 pack for each type of device? (aka IOS, Android, PC's, Mac). I hate to say it, but this doesn't sound streamlined.
Sorry, Zimar. I've added a link to the Symantec Norton products. For more information on how TechSoup's product donation program works, check out our product donation FAQ: www.techsoup.org/.../product-donation-faq .
BobbyG: Norton Small Business works on the same types of devices as Norton Security. As for streamlining, Norton used to offer Norton AntiVirus for Windows, Norton AntiVirus for Mac, Norton Internet Security for Windows, Norton Internet Security for Mac, and Norton 360. The current offering is considerably leaner.
